Construction is barely a trade, it’s just manual labour, I’m actually gonna go to trade school and get a good job

For me it is, I’m doing engineering which is really hard, at my hometown which makes it so boring, and I’m not even interested in it really at all, I only did it because my parents said I should

I’m sure uni would be a good option for some people

The thing is that I don’t even wanna be an engineer, so doing all of this hard work all the time feels so pointless

Uni is terrible in general for sub5 guys.
Life is terrible for sub5 guys, at least in uni you can leverage your degree to wageslave for more money. Not going to uni because you're sub5 is not something I would recommend. Though if its truly over it makes sense to ldar

Participating in the system would be hypocrital from my part. School, job, gatherings, capitalism, fuck it all. Society needs more real men like me.

I agree man, I wish I could do none of it

My ideal life would be living in a hut and hunting all day long

Works on the power lines, and easily makes over 100k a year
Seems like work my inferior Airways are not well suited to

just dont do welding bc it causes cancer even tho the pay is good. you could consider working on an oil rig i think that makes really good money especially if you dont mind being solitary away from society

Nomadic pastoralism sounds good to me. Not sure if the system would let me do it.

if you dont care about money as much and you like being solitary in nature you could also be a park ranger but i think thats only in the united states

This is facts. Most tradesmen do. Especially once you get experience. Most degrees are oversatured and worthless nowadays. And the ones that aren’t arent (think mechanical engineering or computer science) are usually done by the guys this forum would call sub5’s.

I’ve come to the conclusion you should study something you have interest in. Personal experience. If you don’t it’s cooked

Exactly, this is why I’m about to drop out of my engineering degree, I have no interest in it at all, which makes it impossible to study for

Engineer mogs. I would do that but I’m stupid af, and sounds kinda boring. It has better status than any trade.

Something at sea seems cool, like commercial fisher. But I don’t know if I’d be happy.

Plumbing, electrician, dentist (doubt you could do that without uni, though), uhh. Probably some others I've forgotten.

You can specialize, and be on-site, outside, often. With engineering, there's a lot of freedom to do so.

You could also try going into the energy sector, there will be a lot of money pumped into this sector over the coming years...

Electricians make the most and you’re not breaking your back.
To be honest, I don’t know why people even want to go into any other trade (at least where I am). The pay differentials in Australia between an electrician and other trades is massive.

Lineman is similar just outside and on power lines
