To be honest, I don’t know why people even want to go into any other trade (at least where I am). The pay differentials in Australia between an electrician and other trades is massive.

Can confirm for Australian electricians are rich as fuck, all the ones I know, which is 5+ all have over million in assets.

One of them made multi-millions when a hailstorm hit, and he was repairing all the solar panels with his crew of 10 people, and some panels were still good, so resold overseas for double. The insurance company was basically spamming him. He was getting so much work, he basically disappeared for like 6 months. I estimate he made between 10 - 15 million in just 6 months.

Another one, last talked to the guy more than 4 years ago, already amassed 6-7 houses, he probably has many more, likely 10+. With the current price surge he is ridiculously rich.

If you can handle coursework whilst doing an apprenticeship or however you get certified wherever you live, then do it.
