It's hard to say, many people have different reasonings for a higher power.
If you go off the reasoning of empirical evidence there is no higher power cause people seemingly get "gifted" randomly (i.e. little girl dies of cancer while drug kingpins get everything)
Some people reason a higher power is a thing due to the fact that during the axiol age, all these different religions and their ideas and ideals seem to come into existence at a similar time with little to no interaction between the groups of people believing them.
Then you have stupid arguments like "muh Bill Nye said god is dumb" or "ugh I can peel a banana, checkmate atheists".
Basically I wouldn't worry too much about it but until people actually learn to have a discussion and not call everyone dumb we'll just have mainly shitty ideas.
