So I just finished my otoplasty procedure 3 days ago, and it was a success. However I noticed once a flaw is gone, another flaw is revealed, I noticed there is an asymmetry with my eyes, maybe a 2mm difference on the level of my brow on one eye and another. I had watched some videos and materials and correspondences on this board in regards to blepharoplasty, and come to the conclusion it is an 'agepill' surgery? I don't think my flaws in this area are age-related however. The exception to this it appears is the surgery conducted by Taban.

So what is the consensus?

it's the asymmetry even noticeable?

Blepharoplasty is for skin wrinkles, eye bags.

If there is a difference in the level of your eyes you would need either Filler, Implants, Grafts..etc - we won't know what you will need exactly just speak to a good oculoplastic surgeon. Taban is booked out 6-12 months for surgery just fyi and there are others.

If your brows are misaligned, maybe a unilateral brow lift?

I think the diagnosis was a <2mm ptosis of the eye. Barely noticeable. I don't live in a country where 'oculoplastic surgeon' is a thing although there are surgeons that specialise in blepharoplasty. I feel like I would get a generic result, unlike of that I would get from Taban, Vrcek or some other American specialist which is unfortunate. I have spoken to some "looksmax" gods in terms of these surgeries, some have suggested implants as eye deficiencies are a skeletal deficiency according to their theories. I don't think my eyes are particularly bad to warrant surgical intervention, however.

Unless your ptosis is very noticeable then I wouldn't waste my money on it. I have light ptosis since my teenage year and nobody notices it except from myself.

I mean, it pays to look better in photos, right?
