One time in my old house i was just chilling in my room doomscrolling on my phone until it died
I went to the kitchen in the spot in the map marked by the stickman to go plug it in since there was an outlet there so i could charge it, and as you can see in the map it was right next to this corner turning to the hallway to go to the living room

I was just using it casually until the phone started lagging and froze and then i just put it down and started staring at the kitchen waiting for it to come back to normal. Mind you it was like 3 am so obviously dark as fuck
Then i moved my head to the hallway turn and then i saw a fucking demon peeking out smiling at me

He looked basically exactly like this but no wings and with a wider head and narrow skinny body and he was also red. Probably like 5 feet tall i'm estimating.
I bolted the fuck to my room, turned to the wall and forced myself to sleep even tho i wasn't sleepy because i was too scared to do anything else. We had a bunk bed and my sister was in the top so i felt a little safer there.
Mind you it was summer in the hottest state in brazil and i didn't shower yet, that was actually what i was planning to do after my phone died since i felt sticky and uncomfortable from all the built up sweat but i still said fuck no and just slept like that because too much fear

I was like 12 playing outside when i saw a green glowing orb maybe 10m away from me, twice the size of a basketball, it moved in a wierd zig-zag pattern and dissapeared in the air. It wasn't creepy just wierd.

When I was a kid, night time was hell.
I was afraid of the dark, and I was afraid to sleep alone.
I remember my mom or my sister would sneak out of my room when they thought I had fallen alseep.
Every time I was still awake. I hated it.
So despite my intense fear of the dark, particularly leaving my bed in the dark, I would leave my bedroom.
I would be intensely scared walking through the dark hallways of our house, until I would reach my sisters bedroom.
Then I would sneak in and sleep on the top bunk of her bed (she always slept on the bottom by herself, she used to share the room with another sister).

Ever since then I have never been as scared. Even near death experiences were never as bad.
Nothing beats the irrational fears of children.
