I used to as well. Stopped when I switched to linux cause there's no Ableton on linux. Wanted to learn Reaper for a while now, but I keep postponing it

It's rolling realease, but, even though it's rolling release, it's stable and doesn't brake on updates.
It comes with configured BTRFS and snapshot stuff, so that If I mess something up, I can load to the previous snapshot in literally 20 seconds.
Also YAST sys-admin tools are cool.
The only thing that sucks is the package manager.
