for me a long time back in senior years of hs i was actively attention flagging to an fo1d which ofc was not reciprocated but was def deriving a natural enjoyment out of it. The second i stopped doint so and followed the second tier 1 normie cope of 'just move on' I was showered with shit behind my back and my rep/name ruined with all her friends, purely out of attention jelaousy for someone she didn't even want to be in a talking stage
