What is wrong with western parents?

Western parents always want to make you work hard and give you NOTHING. even if they are millionares they make it so their children become brainless wage slaves. I get it so they become independed but it also ruins their chances of living a stress free life.

While in eastern countries parents literally do ANYTHING for their child, brutal.
