The thing is, I’ve tried a couple of the dishes, and I’m not really a fan of Chinese food, I’m hoping to find something that could encourage me to like Chinese food though

Idk there are various things that are nice probably noodles with there sauced up chicken or something Chinese takeaways have a lot of mix of stuff. But I stopped eating it a long time ago since it's kinda slop

Dumplings are OK, I do think they could be made much better, but I’m not sure they could be made to the best of the potential given the kinds of foods and seasonings that Chinese cuisine likes to use in my opinion.

That restaurant is not in my area.

This is my general sentiment on East Asian food, and I’ve tried to genuinely find a few dishes that I like, so I can actually say that I don’t dislike Chinese food, but it seems to me like my taste buds just aren’t digging it.

Yes it is very nostalgic for me particularly the one that looks like this:

Back in middle school I was best buds with this chinese kid whose parents owned a restaraunt. They treated me like family and we would eat this type of "orange chicken" with white rice and fried dumplings and spend hours together playing destiny.
