What is your thoughts on AI?

I think it is interesting. I speak in a more creative way about it. A lot of other artists hate it but I see it as a meduim that only a few can truly master. If you can make a video or an art piece from an AI and then transform that into something else all together without anyone knowing? I think that takes a lot of skill, even more so in video. It depends what you use it for. If you are truly creative with it and edit the output of the AI into something new and different, that takes skill.

In general. I think it is very useful, say you need to make more videos or animations but do not have the time to colour in everything, the AI can do it for you and then you edit and change the parts you find uncanny. There you go, you saved a lot of time. I still prefer traditional art but the second it is on a pad with a pen. I see it as fair game.

People who can adapt their pride will move on fourth, ones who are really good at their craft do not have too but ones who are average and nothing in the art system? Just like evolution. They will be left behind.

I personally don't think it matters too much about peoples takes on AI, not talking about your post simply engaging discussion but more general debates and ethical concerns regarding it, because like it or not it's our future and here to stay, not like it's going anywhere.

That being said I think we should start putting it to use on tasks that people don't enjoy, such as taxes, advanced math, etc, instead of making it do things people DO enjoy such as art or music

I'm not trying to whine that AI is destroying small artists or whatever the fuck, I just mean that it's kind of pointless compared to what we could have it doing

It's good shit , honestly , but it's a bit overrated the way people keep hyping it up , AI and semiconductor stocks are priced to perfection and businesses looking for investors claim "AI this AI that" like a bunch of scummy snakeoil salesmen

Tons of uni kids in my country are getting fucked hard now that systems can detect AI usage in assignments

All in all it's cool, probably a game changer in the long run but it's not some kind of "oh shit we discovered the Internet" kind of thing

If anything, our already dumb, screen-addicted generation will get even dumber and less creative ... not a good thing

It especially pisses me off when people argue that it ruins the livelihood of artists or whatever since it's more efficient, if you truly cared about art you'd accept greater technologies that can benefit the industry as a whole. Your brand shouldn't be that you deserve support because you're a small local artist, it should be because of your talent and efficiency

Same for "black owned businesses" like idgaf what race the owner of the business is, how is that relevant? I just want the best product for my money

When the camera came out, artists thought it would replace painting and drawing but it actually created a whole new art form. It’s similar here
