Discussion What job should I aim for after I'm done w hs n uni

I'm 10th grade n at the end of this year I should choose a subject that I should specialize in. I want to work smth that involves design, cuz I really like drawing. But I need a job that pays me well.
My family keeps pushing for architecture, but I find maths boring n pain in the ass

I want to for uni/college, but I dont have any plans for the future. never have really thought bout it

You can't predict the future, but spending 4 years on a degree that may be worthless by than is risky (so is inaction too for what it's worth)
There are frontend webdevs graduating into a marketplace where only the best will find employment, while most will be replaced by AI solutions. Allegorically it's like learning to drive horse carriages in 1912, 4 years after the Ford Model T launched.

Not really, blue collar exists but it's a huge looksmin and probably a shitty lifestyle
I'm just doing self taught indie game dev lmao, been mildly successful but I need to scale if I want to survive, will have to head to Uni at some point though
