I'm in a technical high school taking IT classes right now, so I don't have to go to college for IT. But all you need is CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+, which you can get fully online or at a community college.

isn’t it the same pay as the other stuff i listed

then tell me what are lmao
Office jobs, obviously. Despite what Disney and the other brainwashing media tried to tell you otherwise.
You're literally just sitting and doing stuff on the computer, like you're probably doing right now in your free-time anyway. Only dumbasses and misguided people think doing those trade jobs is cool because it makes you a "man", but it's just going to hurt you physically in the long-run. :AYAYAWeird:
Plus, then you'll have more time to think about how to looksmax instead of getting barked at by your construction asshole manager into working non-stop for a low pay.

Im a trucker. 19 and am on track to bring home 130k profit. Should be doing close to 200k a year after I buy a new trailer. Very dependent on who you know in this industry.

I’m only where I am today because my dad owns the company. Without connects in trucking you’re fucked.

Everybody and their mom wants to be an electrician right now so that’s hard to get into.

Construction is cool but you’re fucked if you stay in it for too long physically.

Very location dependent TBH. I’m assuming you’re in USA. I live in SoCal so this is based on my experience and knowledge. You’ve got a few routes to go down if you don’t want to go to college.

Some trades are stupid hard to get into (electrician as you mentioned, plumbing, hvac). These are all trades people are trying to flood into because they are scared of AI.

But there are trades that are less popular that are dying for people. Examples are: sheet metal workers, ironworkers, insulation workers, cement masons, etc. These jobs are not as high on the tier list of prestige for trade jobs but they can pay pretty good. Where I am the metal workers and insulation workers make as much as electricians.

If you do pursue a trade, try to join the union as soon as possible for the trade you choose. The trades I listed in the previous paragraph are dying for new apprentices so joining their unions won’t be as hard.

Cops and firefighters where I live can make 300k - 500k plus. Obviously that is with overtime, but it’s still a viable option. You will be putting your life at risk though. If I was a billionaire and money wasn’t an issue I’d be a cop tbh. Shit CHP makes 120k starting out fresh from academy.

You can still become a trucker, however you will have to grind out some years as a new guy to move up in the world. Get your CDL A with all endorsements and after a few years experience you’ll be able to do fuel. Fuel pays real good usually 110k starting off and a 4/12 shift. However you’re hauling around a bomb. Walmart pays good too but it’s hard as fuck to get in.

Sales guys make some good money as well, but it’s all dependent on them. I know guys making 100k - 300k at 19 in sales, but they work their asses off and lowkey do some shady shit. Very personality dependent.

One thing to keep in mind regarding trades, it is hard as fuck. You’re out there in the heat and snow, being yelled at, and constantly not being enough. Prior to becoming a truck driver I was a concrete carpenter for a little bit doing commercial form work under the carpenters union. I was waking up at 2-3 am everyday, digging trenches, humping 2x12s, and wheelbarrowing base, for 8 hours a day.

It’s rough on you man. I got out because i fucked up my knee. It’s for sure rewarding work as you feel a sense in pride knowing you built that, but it fucks you up. All the guys I worked with were alcoholics, felons, and on their second or third wives.

As long as you take care of yourself and be careful, you can have a lasting career in whatever you choose.

No job. no job is designed to get you money, just to live with some wiggle room here and there. There are some jobs that pay the slaves slightly more but they usually require more education or extravagant meat riding: doctor (or anything in the medical field, but you will be in school till around 28 or 26 if ur smart), accounting and office jobs you can get from a 4 year university or college but they pay a bit less and you will be there for the rest of your life. Honestly, look into the internet as we're in an interesting time where the internet is still relatively new and you can get very rich if you know what you are doing. Do your research, it's your life
