It’s not really about the number of years between two people the real generational gap shows up when there’s a lack of shared experiences, values, or cultural references. Two people could be 10+ years apart but still vibe the same if they grew up on similar music tech and life events. On the flip side even a small age gap can feel massive if their worlds were totally different growing up. I grew up in a third world country amd ppl like me find it hard to relate to Americans my age often.
