What kind of braces should I get?

I recently went to an orthodontist because of some bite issues and they said they would give me a pallet expander(expanding 3mm) and braces. I’m just wondering if there is a different expander or a different type of braces I could get that would help my face look better. I just got little plastic things put in between my molars to make space for the appliances and I think it’s about a week before I have to go back and get the expander. Any tips?

mine initially said only 3-4, i measured my palate it was 32MM

I said the average for a man was 38-40MM and if we could go for that, he said yeah

I haven’t thought about measuring my pallet. But good shit on the 6mm. As you said it doesn’t take much to see a difference, but would 3mm be a very noticeable difference?
