Case 2 is dependant on facial leanness.
Notice how in the pic the guy has like no face fat? Even the slightest bit of face fat will make the face look full.

With deep canine fossa you need a very lean face for the recessed bone to pop under your skin.
I feel like this is common sense at this point.

Hollow cheeks in general are very dependant on facial fat.
To deny this is to have no knowledge on the subject.

Average ppl daily are not walking around with hollow cheeks (could say due to bonemass).

Above 15% bodyfat you'll rarely have hollow cheeks.
