What kind of influence did the Austrian Habsburg Empire leave on the non-Austrian parts?

The Slovenes, Czechs, Slovaks and Hungarians entire countries were under Austrian Habsburg influence for almost a millennia. Other countries also were partially ruled by them, but also had non-Austrian parts in contrast.

What influence can be seen there nowadays in contrast to for example Macedonia, Bulgaria, Albania, etc who were under Turkish Ottoman rule for almost a millenia.

Does the influence transcend linguistic and ethnic borders, as in forming some unifying Catholic Central European spirit?

Yes, parts of the former empire look the same architecture wise, foods are the same, customs, culture, mentality, world view etc.

Really the only thing different between the ethnic groups are language. Germans used to live spread out everywhere in the empire before they got deported after WW2

If you look at election maps in Central Europe you can see phantom borders of Austria-Hungary in every direction, meaning that even though it was abolished 100 years ago, people’s mentality remained the same

Transylvania that the vlachs stole from Hungary is still the most developed region while the rest of Romania is still a shithole like it was a hundred years ago

German was the second official language everywhere enabling mixed marriages. I also assume Catholics only married Catholics since Muslims and Orthodox are only allowed to marry each other respectively.

I read that Czechs, Hungarians, Austrians and Slovenes cluster the closest genetically. So much that Austrians are less German and more " Habsburg Empire" and Czechs are not clustering near Poles at all but rather closest to Austrians and Hungarians.
