What kind of jobs do you guys have?

Im trying to figure out what kinds of jobs my fellow incels have. I’m a severely autistic and have horrific anxiety and panic and some minor psychosis in my past.

I really need to get a job. But I have horrible panic attacks every time I leave the house. And I can’t do any math higher than third grade level.

I'm unemployed at the moment, took a leave of absence for 3 months, but I extended it to 6 months and got denied but I appealed. Might get fired if not already

I worked as a personal banker opening personal and business accounts, loans, credit cards, credit lines for personal and business ( think credit card but you can withdraw in cash the credit limit you get )

Did this for 1.5 years before becoming depressed at the shit pay so took a leave of absence in the hopes of landing a higher paying job

For reference im in america.

Most of my fellow finance grads got 60-70k right of college 4 years ago , and inflation has increased a lot, 1$ IN 2020 is worth 1.22$ today, so 60*1.22=73k,

I was making 45k from mid 2023 onwards to end 2024, and I was living in the west coast ,so cost of living a lot higher

As you can getting financial mogged hurts esp when you slaved away at uni only to get a salary that you didnt need college for

My ideas now are work the oil fields if I dont land a job In the 60-70k range, those guys can hit 70-90k and work only 6-9 months a year ( usually its 3 weeks on ,1 week off, and other places 2 weeks on , 2 weeks off )

Or the alternative idea was to try to network aggressively and maybe get a recommendation to a corporate SAAS sales role ( SAAS= Software as a sales role ) . Ideas were account executive and business development representative

Account executive is a role in sales, advertising, marketing, and finance involving intimate understanding of a client company's objectives and products and a professional capability to provide effective advice toward creation of successful promotional activities and strategies.

These guys close the deals the BDR ( business development representative ) finds

A business development representative (BDR) is responsible for generating new business opportunities by qualifying leads and prospecting through existing business accounts to engage with potential buyers.

They do the hard work of spam emailing, taking in person, calling up random business to find leads.

We will see but I dont wanna be stuck in this job getting paid like ass when guys in the blue collar sector are gonna make way more

As for you


As you , you have blue collar jobs where its more manual based like the oil fields or natural gas fields. That would work well for you with your anxiety and autism might work in your favor as you have to be precise and stick to a routine or else you might mess up the process of working on the oil/natural gas plant

Avoid social based jobs till your anxiety resolves, so no sales type work or people oriented work ( servers, bartender, secretary, etc ) . Manual based work is gonna be the best option, so working in a factory, or in the warehouse and those jobs while the pay may not be the best tend to offer more overtime and more open roles so it should be easier to find.

Mechanical engineer, I only make 40k a year (UK GBP) and it’s an open plan office job so would be terrible for you (it’s terrible for me, I need 10+ hours of sleep to cope with the stress of just being forced to be around people and have no life)…

Wouldn’t recommend.

Could just go the night security officer route? Making money immediately is far better than making a higher salary later due to insane inflation and money printing.

You would likely need some inside referral or connection so to a oil/gas job fair , and make friends with the company people. Some might hire on the spot.

Somewhat it depends on your position. If your working in the process operator type role that would be inside managing the buttons , while the rig workers called roustabout often get some oil on them but its not a whole lot. The indoor role usually requires you to do the messy work for a few years before they take you to that level.

Its probably one of the few high paying jobs you can get with no experience as they will hire those with limited knowledge but keep in mind its not going to be easy to get , as many people apply for these jobs. You would likely need some inside referral or connection so to a oil/gas job fair , and make friends with the company people. Some might hire on the spot.

Don't have yet, but i think i'll start next week, salary is 800 euros for a part time in Romania wich is alot.
