Hola, podría ampliar tu pregunta, pero necesito aclarar un punto en lo que comentas, los ortodoncistas no buscan mejorar aspectos superficiales (o más allá de cómo se verá tu sonrisa y la alineación hacia la línea media de tu cara) en resumen, ellos no se encargan de mejorar tu cara, solo tu sonrisa, independientemente de que sacrifiquen dientes, o retraigan tu cara, no puedes culparlos, pero tú tampoco, ya que es algo que no tienes claro como tal, no puedes pedir que te coloquen un expansor palatino si tu objetivo es tener una proyección de la misma, y es que con el paso del tiempo; no puedes ir y decir: "Oye, quiero un expansor palatino".
