I went to a plastic surgery clinic and they took pics of me with a professional camera and my face looks extremely compressed and short.
However when I use the back camera of my phone, 6ft away, it looks good, at least proportional. WTF is accurate? Apparently the human eye sees in about the equivalent to 43mm…? However, photographers usually use an 85mm lens for headshots/portraits, so it’s a reasonable assumption my surgeons assistant would use that. I have an iphone XR, can’t find much info about its accuracy
My mom said I look like the back camera pics and the photographer ones are compressed but she easily could be larping to make me feel better.
