it's not i recommend watching tutorials, like start off small don't do a full on haircut

i just gave myself a haircut yesterday and legit said to people irl i got it at the barber and no one even commented on it

in your case you're just trimming, it's a lot easier. just know what length you want and go for it, you'll get the hang of it after 10m
