im at community college right now trying to transfer once i get my credits. grades arent really what im worried about, more so picking some dumb major and realizing in 4 years it doesnt lead to anything.

i dont really care about following my passion or whatever. i just dont want to be 25 with a degree that doesnt pay. i also dont want to pick something insane just because it has a high salary on google and then fail out of it.

i look at cs a lot because thats the stuff i actually pay attention to (ai etc). finance/econ seems fine too. engineering idk, feels like people just say it because it sounds serious. if you did cc and then transferred into one of these lmk if it was worth it.

please dont tell me to do psych or communications. and dont tell me to just go into trades unless you actually did that and it worked out.

anything stem. eecs probably or math

pick something you are interested in thats all that matters. but if you want to do a major beacuse it has a good employment rate and also pays good money you could always investigate it deeper and try to force yourself to become interested in it by doing a deep dive.... but just pick something you are interested in
