What makes a fair fight? Should any fight be fair?

For example a guy pulls out a knife when someone's trying to fight him

They'll shame the knife guy for not fighting with his fists

But like... if he fought with his fists

The other guy could be way bigger, or have way more fight experience and training

So that should be shamed too because it's not a fair fight either

No fight is fair. In weight, skills, experience, weapons.

So is it me or does it not make sense to shame weaponsmaxxers for being unfair when well trained or bigger guys are being unfair too
