I have no idea how to rate a chin or what the ideal chin is to. To me, chin is chin. Ive been told i have a good chin but not so good jawline but i thought the two go together?

Tallish and projected, defined. The chin is seen separately from the actual jawline so one can be worse than the other

Are you doing surgery first? No braces before and after?

Won't you get hooks that you must keep on your teeth for some time after surgery?

Yes

Will be doing invisalign after anyway to correct teeth aesthetics but no malocclusion, my surgeon did not require it

Won't you have elastics and hooks in your mouth like a lot of people post surgery? Or will they just leave your teeth bare?

I'm not sure tbh. It will use custom plates which supposedly reduce the necessity of using things like that. I haven't talked to my surgeon about that yet. I think I might need to wear something for a few days-1 week at most

Oh. That's the same as me. But don't you feel a bit hesistant on spending such a large amount of your income on elective surgery?

I have moderate sleep apnea that severely impacts my quality of life so I view it as necessary. I CBA with cpap and I could have theoretically tried to get it done via insurance in my country but if I am going to do it I want the best aesthetic result possible. This means I need implants along with it and I need to be able to select my surgeon, so I have to go elective.

In any case, I'm a proponent of the belief that money is meant to be spent.

Chin is the area under the mouth, a good chin is bulging forward giving you that "square" look. Good chin is necessary for a hypermasc appearance.

Here's mine after genio, I had a good jawline before, but not a good chin.

Trust me, povertyceldom is way more cortisol inducing than being ugly or having sleep apnea. I guess if you have a large amount of savings, go ahead but imo, you should always have a good amount of money saved and prioritize investments. You don't want to be 35 with no assets.

Is it worth moving from the uk to us? If you dont give af abt seeing old family n friends
If you can get a high paying job in a LCOL area then yes. I wouldn't move to another country or another city unless it helped me ascend in some way.

ideally id get a job in switzerland, where professor salaries are insane (dual us/eu citizen), and the buildings are much prettier.
