What makes or break jaw angle implants?

People seem to argue left and right what actually makes or break jaw angle implants. Some say you need certain conditions to be met, some say fillers will always be superior, some say they'll always end up looking uncanny.

Are there any high IQ folks who knows what makes or breaks them?

For example, I have undergone trimax, but I have a very round ramus with inward gonions. I could also benefit from vertical lengthening at the gonions as well.

My plan was to ideally get them, in combination with jaw shaving, to recountor instead of just adding material, which is one of the factor I believe can turn people just bloated.

1. They are hard to design well because of the amount of tissue and muscle on top of them

2. They are hard to place well. This matters more than you think

3. Those who need jaw implants most are ironically the worst candidates because the bigger the implant the more risk of implant show and/or dehiscience

Those are the 3 big problems

Random extra - if your face is shaped like a perfect boneless orange and you have thick facial skin it will be extremely challenging to get even a decent result.

You see a lot of these perfect boneless oranges getting jaw implants and it just turns them into even more of a perfect boneless orange

This is why I'm waiting and watching for the final result of Tim closely, as he was the archetypal perfect boneless orange face shape and imo Giant is the best jaw implant designer around, so it's the ultimate test

I will ask Ramieri and other surgeons about them. I would like taller ramus. Not a huge failo but I would benefit.
