It's such a dysgenic trait on both men and women. Screams low class and unkempt peasant. Vertical proportions are king truly.

Might indicate ideal airway development tbh. mouth breathing results in a recessed face so it makes sense it would also give a short neckI assume a long neck offers some evolutionary advantages, so it's an indicator of good genes.

combat? idk about that, wouldn't a short neck allow better absorption of shock/damageI assume a long neck offers some evolutionary advantages, so it's an indicator of good genes. Probably a wider range of motion, better responsiveness to changes in the surroundings, better dodging in combat etc.
that's still considered a long neck it's just the polo shirt making it appear shorter than it actually isMouthbreathers usually have long necks.

A short neck makes you look robust and makes it harder to knock you out.
Medium length is ideal

I'm just speculating but I think a longer neck would allow you to move your head more quickly and with more range, allowing for better dodging of hits. It's better to be good at dodging punches rather than just being able to take them, since CTE will eventually happen regardless of how strong you are.combat? idk about that, wouldn't a short neck allow better absorption of shock/damage
Opposite of this. A long neck makes head movement more awkward and easier to read and hitI'm just speculating but I think a longer neck would allow you to move your head more quickly and with more range, allowing for better dodging of hits.
