if you are an ugly guy and you approach a woman in a romanic way - even in they nicest and non threatening way possible - you spike her cortisol to the roof and beyond triggering a flight/fight situation comparable to an encounter with a cockroach. she cant help it but feel a huge amount of disgust. thats just their biological program.
