In regards to OP, it's only the light coloring genes that are recessive, everything else ends up averaging between Europeans and non Europeans when they mix. And in regards to attraction, it's completely irrelevant whether something is recessive, a gene could be dominant and result in a trait that is unattractive or vice versa. Something being attractive = people who were attracted to it had higher reproductive success.
