I just switched from YouTube Music to Apple Music because I got a new phone and it gave me 3 months for £4/month. Sound quality for me sounds better than Youtubes to be honest.

I have both YouTube premium (Which YT Music comes with) and Apple Music, for some reason YT has never charged my card even after the end of my free trial lmao. Apple Music mogs though

Apple music... takes me back to 2016 honestly.
I mostly use Spotify and Soundcloud, but I've almost completely switched to Spotify because some songs kept being region restricted, aka I can't even listen to them unless I'm from a particular country.
Only good thing about youtube is the mix feature. I'll listen to some songs that I like, and I'll get the mix of it which is basically a(n endless, sometimes) playlist containing songs that similar to it. Pretty cool way to find new songs.

It can be but I only buy the tracks or albums that I must have. And seeming as I purchase very infrequently, its a lot cheaper than paying 10 bucks monthly. Being a pirate is also a good alternate but I fucking hate the faggy systems of file sharing and such.
