The piano ofc, it's the best instrument ever imo. I'm not aiming or desiring to be a professional pianist. I just want to be good enough at playing the piano to improve my compositional abilities. And that's because most composers who wrote good music for a certain instrument were good at playing the instrument they were writing for (e.g., Franz Liszt was a pianist & mainly composed for the piano). If I write difficult music, I want to be able to play it on my own first lol or else I'll end up spending quite a lot of money on hiring trained pianists to play whatever I've written.
