What options do I have for retrognathia/recessed chin?

I think it's my biggest failo besides the fact I look like Nick Kroll with maybe a half inch off of the forehead. What are my options at 17y 8mo? I'm likely not going to afford surgery anytime soon, it's sort of an underbite and if I try to align my teeth together by pushing my jaw forward i just look retarded

Too scared to post my face in ratings because i'm paranoid someone's either stalking me off on an old alias or i'm going to get bullied to suicide. I could bring it up to my dentist as I have an appointment for a filling coming up soon but atp unsure if I should just give up. AI said I was around PSL 4.2 overall with "underdeveloped jawline (soft gonials, weak masseter) and recessed midface" being my biggest flaws.

What can I get covered by insurance? Do I just have to rope or focus on money grinding?

If you are of east slavic descend, there is no other way as being recessed comes naturally. East slavs can look extremely recessed and still be healthy.

I belive I'm a mix of Irish/Italian, waiting for my AncestryDNA test to come back. Everything's been weighing on my mental lately, I was put on Sertraline and Aripiprazole at one point so it very well could be just me bitching. I've never been outright told I'm ugly.

I've been hit on twice, once by someone a year younger than me and once by my current GF however I'm paranoid my insecurities are going to ruin any potential chance at me keeping her or if she doesn't really find me attractive.

I do have a main dentist I go to, unsure if they are in orthodontics specifically because I'm a retard however my jaw may not be recessed enough to qualify. Partial chin reveal since I probably won't get encouraged to off myself off that alone

With the science used to justify it tapping your face imprecisely with a blunt object is not going to looksmax you. Wolff's law talks about the bone adapting to pressure, there's not much to adapt to if you're doing it a few minutes a day and the pressure isn't really sustained.

By the scientific law they use to justify bonesmashing, wearing a resistance band on your face would probably do more jfl

i've heard of chin filler, was told by someone else i could potentially get double jaw surgery covered but i doubt it, leaning out would potentially make my chin look worse. it looks like a lot of my bloodline has recessed chins so i might just have to cope

Fair point, i sent a picture of my jaw prior, no full face because although a part of me wants to know if I'm over, I genuinely think I'd just CTB once everything actually set in.

genioplasty is the only way to truly fix chin recession chin filler is the 2nd best option and you can do it at home for a couple hundred bucks just get the filler that dissolves not migrates

Told AI to be realistic and it gave a 4.2, when it was being unrealistic it was giving HMTN with HHTN at hardmaxx/softmaxx potential with LHTN softmaxx potential. Realistically around MLTN, potentially lower on my side profile.

Ur side mandible is definetly not chad but not that bad either. If you went to east-eastern europe your profile would be hhtn. In the west this mandible is hltn tier.

Unless you don't have severe functional issues, insurance won't cover your surgery
