What percentage of the world population is white?

I've seen the stat 6.5% yet a google search says 8-10% of the world population has blue eyes. So I'm not sure. Take everything with a grain of salt of course, don't blindly trust what authorities say. It's fair to say whites are a minority with most people being ethnics but I'm curious what the actual percentage is.

I don't count dark-haired dark-eyed people as white like most meds, brazilians, iberians etc.
