What pet should I get?

Ive been thinking about getting a parrot, or some kind of dwarf dog maybe? I dont want something too big and deff not annoying any ideas?

I dont plan on keeping it in a cage or anything I wanted a bird so I could train it and then let it go put and then it comes back you know, sucks being an onlychildcel
