It doesn’t always have to be relating on an “emotional” level. Being NT is more about having common interests with normies, being able to converse with them organically, having the same humour, etc. This does not require emotions really, hence why even some psycopaths or narcissists can be NT. Just be high energy and act “normal”

So today i was socializing with fellow students because they need people who do the catering at an university related event.
I just cant talk with these people about common interest its so difficult. They smalltalk about everyday stuff i dont care about. It just not interesting.

They talk alot about studies related stuff i don't really think about or lets say i don't find interesting to talk about. I dont know what to contribute to that conversation tbh. Sometimes i say something but that feels kinda dumb idk.
I think whats different in me is that i dont really react to things the same way most people do.
I dont laugh that much or i laugh about very different things than others. I cant really fake laugh when they try to be funny, works better with mask on. I dont really know how to react correctly when someone talks about some kind of bad thing happening to them or in general or if they show me somthing funny on there phone. Not becasue i dont have empathy. Iam just not used to this. Its kinda new.
