The cheapest ones...I walk a lot and found out that even the more expensive shoes still get ruined just as fast as the cheap ones - the sole starts to crack, form holes, etc., I can't get anywhere a pair of shoes with sturdy soles!

No, there are tons of small rocks, glass shards, nails and other crap on the ground here, your soles will eventually be destroyed.
