What should be the dose of finasteride?

Im not sure how the the dose should be. Anyone here on fin and can go into details about his dose and daily routine and result so far?

It depends on a few factors I think. Standard dose is obviously 1mg\day but studies indicate that 0,5 mg or 0,25 mg daily is efficatious too.
What I would consider the deciding factor is age: if your balding starts in early twenties then it is probably agressive so you would benefit from 1 mg\day, thats what I do now with zero sides. But in case s*it hits the fan you titrate down, maybe take a break in every 3 month or so.

1 mg until you got your hair back and then maintenance with 0,5~0,2mg
