What should i be aware of when getting braces

Im planning’s on getting braces in january and i wanna be ready for any proposition my ortho does that might make me uglier.

i’ve heard about getting your premolars removed and how it affects maxilar development and also about wisdom teeth but i heard you should only get it removed if they are causing problems with the roots of other teeth but im not sure abt it

what else might hinder my appearance when getting my teeth straightened

idk but it happens to alot of ppl, probably cus your lower teeth are shifting inward but that depends on ur teeth to begin with. It can make ur palate more narrow too, but if u already have a narrow pallate it will probably just make it wider, it all depends on your pallate and teeth to begin with

ur teeth are crooked because they dont have space but they wont tell you that making you lose out on any external aesthetic benefits you could get and then making u wear a retainer for the rest of ur life
