what should i do abt my elective decisions for school

I want to do psychology since ive always had an interest on human behavior and wtv

but my mum is FORCING me to do medical science which i dont have the slightest interest for it and also none of my friends will be doing it.

should i listen to my mum or go with my personal choice. THOUGHTS?
