what should i do next

i am getting braces with elastic bands, no extractions but what else should i do to try to ascend because i really feel chopped especially my side profile, i feel like my maxilla is recessed and downgrown and it makes me look terrible and also it comes into play that my lower jaw is a bit back because of my overjeet so idk what i should do. it may just be over for me

Don’t get bands and get Damon braces or you’ll be cooked trust me
