I'm gonna start school in 6 days, and I need to make a choice, and I need POVs from none other than the .org legends. I go to the science program with an annoying classmate and a bunch of weirdos. However, I'm not enemies with any of them, I'm very neutral. and I have 1 friend in this class since we've known each other from middle school.
However, I have planned for many months to change my program to economics/finance since that's what I want to work with, and it's a lot easier to get A's in those courses than in AP Chemistry, advanced math, physics, biology, and so on.
The problem is I applied to popular schools that I also fortunately have friends in. However, those schools are full and told me to wait in line for a while. Until it's my turn, I have the option to change programs at my current school or just stay in science.
I do want to change to economics, but the problem is their class is full of jocks, extroverts, everyone is friends with each other, all of them are normies, and they troll around a lot. And I'm none of those. Yes, I work out, but that's it. I'm not very social, I'm kinda ND, and a lot of normies have told me I have a weird vibe. This is because I'm too high inhib and shy. Obviously, I want to fix this, but I don't know how.
What should I do, and how?
