For these phenotypes, should the primary strategy involve combinations such as a Lefort I downgraft + genioplasty to lengthen the face vertically, or should it involve procedures like zygoma reduction to narrow the cheekbones? When I look at patients who have achieved excellent results with surgeries for short face syndrome, I generally observe that they already have high cheekbones (vertically short zygoma with minimal bone mass) and a relatively long ramus. Therefore, is it possible to create sharp facial contours from these phenotypes, and if so, which surgeries yield the best results?
