I used to try all the different products but lost interest a while back & stuck with jack black & high-quality olive oil for moisturizer. What are your recommendations & what products do you use? (Scrub, exfoliator, etc)

tretinoin 0.025%

I have a pretty simple skincare routine because knowing myself, I wouldn't be able to do It consistently day & night for longer than a week if it were 10 steps.

So it's just cleansing, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Morning and evening (without sunscreen). I also derma roll like thrice a week.

I'll start using tretinoin if I can find a good source for it.

What about things like" matrixyl peptide matrixyl 3000, matrixyl synthe'6, tetrapeptide-21, and egf., and creams with You need to find a cream with at least 0.1% madecassosides.?"

Have you taken the "orthosilicic acid (BioSil), red panax ginseng, honeybee royal jelly extract, and aloe vera.," pill as in your OG thread?

La Roche Sensitive Riche or Effaclar Mat, and white vaseline only at night, works really well and got good skin just from using that. And of course sunscreen. Will start tretinoin/Retin-a 0.05 which I have stored in my cupboard after accutane course

The Musely 12% Hydroquinone Spot Cream is what I use for hyperpigmentation. It's super potent tbh, literally removes any dark spots within a day or two.

The Matrixyl products I used were all from Timeless. Tbh though I do think they need to be much stronger. If I could find a product that has more than Matrixyl 3000 8%, it would be a game changer but sourcing something like this is not easy. I used A'pieu Madecassoside Cica Gel, which contains 0.5% madecassosides, for a long time but I honestly don't think it gave me much results.

I took all those supplements in the pursuit of collagenmaxxing and I'm telling you right now, any supplement that claims it helps with collagen is gigacope. No supplement will give you noticeable results, except for maybe Pycnogenol. But even then, I genuinely do not think it's worth the money.

Yea, you could honestly just put Curology Tretinoin on your entire body after mixing with a basic moisturizer. Glycolic Acid and GHK-cu Cream are both goated for bodycaremaxxing. But I also currently use Curology 2% Salicylic Acid Body Wash which works pretty well atm. Start small, but at the same time you need to build up a tolerance to maximize you potential for long-term skin damage.

Muh base routine.

Morning.
- Hylamide face cleanser
- eyes serum. niod Fecc
- Hylamide subq skin serum (has copper peptide GHK-Pal/matrixyl3000 in it), aka anti aging
- the ordinary ascorbic acid 8 + alpha arbutin 2. for glow of skin.
- serum with matrixyl3000 + argireline + HA. for less wrinkly skin.
- cosrx moisterizer Oil Free Ultra Moisturizing Lotion. Moisterizer, but oil free because I used to get to shiny/oily skin.
- spf50 sunscreen. Matte, oil control, non-shiny one. Because to much shiny are most of them. After liketrying 6 different brands, finally found a good one. eucerin oil control sun gel cream spf 50+.

Evening
-
Hylamide face cleanser
- the ordinary amino acids + b5. purpose: to feed the fat cells, to mainitain volume which loses with aging.
- tretinoin (now 0.05%) soon to become 0.1%.
- serum with matrixyl3000 + argireline + HA. for less wrinkly skin.

Which one do you use AM and PM?
Isn’t pycnogenol too dark and sticky to use it AM?

I stopped using it and switched to The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% since it appears to be a better antioxidant product overall. Still recommend Timeless Vitamin C 20% + E FA as the best antioxidant serum, but the price definitely adds up over time and tbh I don't think it's quite worth it.

But to answer your question, I used it in the AM and didn't find it sticky at all. It's a serum so it absorbs quickly.

Acid peels, glycolic acid being the best.

do matrixyl and other shit like copper peptide, amino acids etc. even work? Im 20 but already consider add those to my skincare routine. What's your thought about it?

Tried The Ordinary Lactic Acid, Mandelic Acid, Azelic Acid, Alpha Arbutin, Niacinamide, Rose Hip Oil, Glycolic toner. All useless :blackpill:.

Also CervaVe Salycylic Acid Cleanser. Pure garbage that only burned the skin.

I've had better results covering the face with 15% Lugol's Iodine 🔥.

if something WORKS. is kinda not a good qurstion. WHEN one doesn't specify WHAT is should work for.
imo these 3 things work good, for old people, fighting against their skin getting fucked up because they are getting old. And being older = fucked up skin. if one does nothing about it.

sounds early.
At 20, with zero skincare, I still had mogger skin quality. And I'm white, which is like the worse race to be, when oit comes to skin aging

maybe you will look like Lundgren at his age after your skin care

most of these serums, are meant to attack an issue one has with skin. If one doesn't have that issue, it attacks, with the skin. Than I agree.
But of one has certain issues, than their serums can help to battle that specific issue.,
