depends what returns u want, if u want like 10% relatively consistently, buy into broad index funds or an etf. otherwise you could try your hand at crypto but thats more volatile and you'd need more money and a lot more time to research and watch since if youve only got 1k ur probably still in school. i'd put it into a safer savings acc rn and learn market patterns before jumping on popular stocks with no clue lol
