1 - Bimax, look at how aesthetic his teeth position is in relation to his face thanks to the downgraft. His lower third is gonna look much better in motion / speaking / laughing now too.

2 - Geniogiant, he was severely missing vertical growth and this along with bimax saved his life, looks very dimorphic and balanced now

3 - rhino, looks like it will turn out really good and fix the width

4 - inframalars, restored his ogee curve, decadouche in shambles

His FWHR was already 1.9 (ideal). MFR close to 1:1 as well. From the limited pictures of his smile that I could find, it still looks within normal range.

Downgraft is just completely pointless and will falio him (although maybe not by much if the implants added more zygo width, he'd just look uncanny). He should have just gotten more chin height and left it at that.

Are we sure he actually got a LF downgraft and not a "Genio" downgraft (some people refer to vertical genio as that)? He has mentioned on record that he wants more chin height.

Does downgraft really change the MFR? I thought it only changes the lower third height and position of actual mouth. I mean how would the soft tissues of the middle third change if there’s still a graft and plating there holding things together. I think it is going to help his short TFWHR in the end. But ofc this is all speculation until a few months when we can see

It's downgrafting your LF1 so of course it'll affect MFR. Here's an example from google where the patient went from 1.17 mfr to around 1:1

It's not worth chasing some autism ratio for a gummy smile in return, + fucking other ratios in the process

Even in the case that you do have a short total face, that doesn't automatically mean a downgraft should be done
