What’s bimax?Yes you need bimax
Double jaw surgery lolWhat’s bimax?
bimax, or implants
Bimax. Advancment of both jaws + CCW rotation.
Note to .org users. This is what a good bimax candidate looks like.
So you think I’m a good candidate for this? I still have people saying that I would more than likely have to pay out of pocket for this surgery since I don’t have an overbite or underbite. Do surgeons even still do surgeries if insurance doesn’t cover it?Note to .org users. This is what a good bimax candidate looks like.
If you don’t have significant jaw retrusion then you’re undergoing an invasive, expensive procedure for minimal change.
What implants do you think I’ll need after getting djsYes you need DJS
Forget implants until after that. Seriously.
Bimax would be good and probably even have functional benefits in your case.To fully asses the aesthetic component show a front view aswell
Yes, both of your jaws are underdeveloped. So you think I’m a good candidate for this?
Not necessarily. You could argue that you have breathing problems and sleep apnea. I don't know if this would be enough to justify insurance coverage but it's worth a shot.I still have people saying that I would more than likely have to pay out of pocket for this surgery since I don’t have an overbite or underbite.
Yes, the are plenty of private maxillofacial surgeons who do this kind of thing for a living.Do surgeons even still do surgeries if insurance doesn’t cover it?
Maybe jaw, maybe cheek, just depends on how you like your look afterWhat implants do you think I’ll need after getting djs

Ok, you have slight Asymmetries, those could be fixed with a super good bimax aswell, but Symmetrie isn’t super important. A slight downward movement of the lower jaw and a more prominent maxilla fix all your faults basically.
Ok bro I really appreciate the help. So basically a double jaw surgery performed by a good cosmetic driven surgeon should fix all my problems right?Ok, you have slight Asymmetries, those could be fixed with a super good bimax aswell, but Symmetrie isn’t super important. Yep this is the type of recession that needs bimax, you are a candidate, unlike many users.
Probably yes. Offcours nobodyOk bro I really appreciate the help. So basically a double jaw surgery performed by a good cosmetic driven surgeon should fix all my problems right?
no need for infras.if the maxilla is advanced you might get more under eye support anywayu will ascend hard with bimax and continue to pursue infra-zygo implants
Ok and last question. How much advancement should I be looking to get in the maxilla and mandible? I should be looking to atleast get 5mm in the lower jaw right? I have my consultation Tuesday so I want to make sure I know what I needProbably yes. Offcours nobody

I am a medical student, not a doctor lmao. I don’t really know the exact measurements of your head. However, look in to some more threads discussing this on here and ask around in a new thread aswell. Try asking for a before and after image of how the surgeon imagines it. Also keep in mind that most surgeons will often do too little instead of too much. So try looking up some results of your surgeon and then see if that’s good for you, if not ask him for moreOk and last question.
