What Surgery do I save for with a downgrown recessed maxilla and chin (mandible)

I’ve been trying to get MSE with facemask but my fucking cucktodontist thinks it’s not necessary even tho he sent me to a myofunctional therapist which ended up with the therapist agreeing I lack the space for good tongue posture but I can swallow now with the right pattern so ig that’s one point
he heard about the agreement and immediately said that isn’y necessary and he won’t expand anyway since my mandible is too narrow and my teeth sit perfectly on top of eachother rn

i tried and thought about it but switching is expensive since i got braces in rn and sarpe is also expensive

im still 17 and barely get any money even tho i work while going to school
