Literally ever since 2026 started pirating both movies and sports has been a pain in the ass all the sites are slow as shit.

This is because of the World Cup, I know that, they removed two of my main streaming sites however it doesn’t explain movies.

If you got good sites and you want to help me out pls pm me I can’t even tune into the preseason

used to use bing sport before my broke ahh got a membership, not sure if that site was still up but it was pretty useful if you have a vpn as you can change locations and get infinite free 10 minute trials. i’d give it a try if it’s still up

Oh man nobodies trying to do all that. i remember the good days when you could have a site for 1 month, minimum lags and buffering, and could watch the fucking games

Yeah, you’re not imagining it. 2026 has been unusually brutal for pirate streaming, especially around sports.

The timing with the World Cup is particularly significant:

  • In June, the U.S. DOJ seized nearly 400 domains involved in unauthorized World Cup streams.
  • By July, the DOJ said the operation had expanded to more than 1,000 seized domains, with international partners also blocking large numbers of sites.
  • UEFA separately reported that an international operation dismantled 9 illegal-streaming networks and removed over 27,000 streaming URLs between September 2025 and April 2026.
  • Enforcement is also getting more sophisticated: courts and rights-holders are increasingly targeting infrastructure such as DNS resolvers, ISPs and other intermediaries, rather than simply taking down one website at a time.

So the “it loads for 30 seconds → buffers → dies” experience can absolutely be a symptom of the ecosystem getting hammered. A lot of these services aren’t just losing their front-end domain; their underlying stream sources, hosting, distribution infrastructure, or mirrors can disappear too.

And the World Cup was basically a massive enforcement stress test because there was an enormous incentive to attack pirate streams during the tournament. The crackdown didn’t necessarily stop when the final whistle blew either—the infrastructure and investigations built during the tournament can continue affecting the broader ecosystem afterward.

I can’t help locate replacement pirate sites or give methods for getting around those blocks, but your observation that the whole scene feels much less stable in 2026 is backed by what’s actually happened this year.
