my plants are almost ready to go outside!! i just needed to line the soil bed with manure to feed them up with plenty of nitrogen so they can grow to be big and strong 
so i went over to the manure mans house where i was greeted by 3 dogs and he sent me to the shit mountain
i stood ontop of said shit mountain which according him was maybe up to a decade old (wow!!) and shovelled plenty of shit into 10 bags to be brought home and given to my planties
he invited me, after i gathered the shit, to see his new tortoise
of course i wanted to see the tortoise so i went to his house to ask him to guide me to it. instead he invited me in. so i stepped over the dogs and went inside.
this house was probably the most whimsical i have ever seen, the pots and pans were hung on the walls and the guys family were just hanging about doing family things. i walked to the other side of the house and i dont know how to describe this but basically the back room (which was not separated from the house by a door nor even a wall) was just a stone floor with 3 tortoises of various sizes hanging about. stuck to the window was some sort of lizard which eventually just skiddaddled off into the house.
my description is really not doing this house justice, there were just animals everywhere living inside the house, pans on the walls. the birds which used to live in there had been moved outside and so had the goats (yes the goats lived in the house too at one point)
to add to the weirdness of it all, this guys daughter was genuinely stacy lite and she was just hanging around among all the animals and randomness
so yeah pretty intriguing afternoon
