3 days ago i deadlifted 140kg for 5 reps
Now i cant get 2 reps. On my second set i couldnt even lift it?
Why?
 
OMG GUYS , I CANT LIFT THE MAN MADE METAL AS I USED TO , IS IT OVER ??????

You’re exhausting your nervous system. It won’t be able to do certain lifts to the same extent all the time.

get use to it,keep liftting this heavy and within 3 years your overall stength will decrease

Deadlifting is a terrible exercise for hypertrophy. It has more risks than benefits. The dudes who lift heavy are outliers or will be injury prone. The ones that look “lightweight” but lift heavy deadlifts is because their arms are way longer than the normal proportional wingspan. It’s better to do other things. It’s useless for anything really. Most you can benefit from it is if you use it for Olympic lifts which transition into jumping and sprinting otherwise it’s not that great
