Also I don't eat protein before taking it.

Might be cope but I just wanna maximise results plus eating before sleep ain't great.

There's some theory that it competes with amino acids from food but not much to support the claim since it doesn't really share transport pathways, I just do it like that cause even if it wouldn't work it would at least help me sleep better since eating before sleep worsens your sleep quality.
