In fact, the CEO would probably much prefer that you don't risk your life because the lawsuits he will receive if anything happens to you will end up costing him more.

So here is what you should do. The robbers break into the shop, the first thing you do is put your hands in the air. And you keep them there. You don't press any panic buttons or call the police. You just keep your hands in the air. Got it? If you don't get it, then feel free to practice it before you continue reading. Just keep your hands in the air and do nothing else.

Next, you say the following words "I will comply with you, please don't harm me"

And then you proceed to carry out the robber's demands quickly. The robber leaves and you keep your life. Really simple! That's all you have to do. White folks be trying to grab for guns, call the police, push panic buttons, etc. None of that is needed.

Look, criminals are not smart. But there is one thing ex-prison criminals know better than civilians. That is, the jail sentence for the crimes they are carrying out.
Most criminals would like to avoid adding on murder, attempted murder or GBH because those come with hefty sentences. Ideally, if they caught, they just want to be riding a robbery charge which is like 3-5 years. So don't give them a reason to get physical with you.

I agree that you shouldn't be risking your life if you're a minimum wage convenience store worker.

However, if it is your own shop being robbed (or your family's shop):

Step 1: Pay close attention to customers
Step 2: If one looks suspect, hold your gun beneath the counter
Step 3: If it is apparent you are about to be robbed, grab your gun and shoot the thief in the face.
Step 4: Skin the thief's corpse and wear his skin like a cape while doing Aztec sacrifice rituals. Record this and send it to his family.

Seriously, many of the recent theft rings going around are people who are clearly not stealing for their survival. They often show up in designer clothes and their getaway cars are $40,000 SUVs. People like this would be way less likely to steal from shops if they expected consequences.

Until you realize you are being robbed constantly. You can't keep paying the deductibles. Your insurance rates are skyrocketing and now your family's budget is in a deficit and you're withdrawing from your kids education funds to make rent (or your mortgage) and if shit doesn't turn around fast you'll be evicted or foreclosed on.

If cities with these progressive DAs decriminalizing theft and property crimes saw a rise in shopkeepers executing thiefs and performing Aztec rituals with their corpses they might realize they are fucking retards and decide to do their job.
